Campus Student Success Specialist

I am the Campus Student Success Specialist (CSSS) at William B. Travis Elementary! This is my 10th year working at Travis, so I hold this campus, the students, and the families near and dear to my heart. It truly is my HOME!
I previously taught ELA and Social Studies here at Travis. My goal as the CSSS is to develop the whole child and grow #gcGIANTS by building a collaborative community made up of Travis' families, teachers, and administration to guide our students to be successful in all aspects--academically, emotionally, physically, and socially. I will support the success of our students by providing resources, parent classes, family nights and events, home visits, and by forming a strong school/home relationship.
Our Commitment
Travis Elementary seeks to chart a course that will advance the partnership between home and school for improving the education of all children that attend Travis.
In this partnership, we will assure that parents have input into the planning, design, and implementation of educational goals.
Our communication with parents will be organized, ongoing, timely, and relative to goals and decisions about the Travis Elementary educational program.
